I hope to make a light shade out of leaves and willow. It's very tricky constructing the shape, my idea is the make a dome and place and solar light inside with a solar panel to the side to charge the light for night use, just resourcing small solar lights that are inexpensive, may have to.opt for a battery led light as a last resort.
I spent some time trimming the willow and found the very new shoots very pliable, very string like, it will be fantastic if I can use all natural materials for my project or at least the dome part.

Leaves have been soaking in glycerin for 4 days now, not quite pliable enough for use yet.
